Owner's Description

We have available a 3 star rated, cosy, Lakeland stone fronted, mid terraced cottage.

The lounge has a pine fireplace with log effect electric fire, TV, video, DVD, Hi-fi system and dining area. The kitchen includes a microwave, gas cooker, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, toaster, crockery and cutlery, all to a high standard.

There is one double bedroom with pine furniture and the second bedroom with adult bunks and a vanity unit. The bathroom has a shower attachment over the bath and also has a hand basin and WC.

Our cottage is double glazed and heated with wall mounted electric heaters.

Our cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Portinscale, within walking distance of Derewentwater with Derwentwater Marina and clubhouse offering a range of watersports and evening bar meals. In the village you will find a village store and coffee shop. Also close by is the Farmers Arms Pub for meals and real ale, and the Derwentwater Hotel and restaurant.

A 5 minute drive takes you to the Swinside Inn where you can enjoy real ale and good food in beautiful surroundings.

The property is ideally situated for exploring the northern lakes. It is central for all popular walks e.g. Grisedale Pike, Causey Pike, Catbells and Skidaw, which can all be walked from the door.

A 15 minute stroll takes you into the market town of Keswick with a range of pubs and restaurants.
