Sailing and watersports are available on the Holy Loch and fishing or calm reflection at Loch Eck, a short drive away. Benmore Botanical Gardens will certainly be worth visiting at any time of year. Argyll Forest Park, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park await your exploration too. Good ferry links give you freedom to roam further. Airports at Glasgow or Prestwick.

From Dunoon you can spend a day meandering single track roads to Tighnabruaich and back, venture north to Inveraray, or foot down on the M8 en-route to Stirling or Edinburgh .... the choice is yours.
