The Compound is surrounded by a large garden area equipped with tables, chairs and canopies, with a 7 x 12 metres swimming pool that has a part for children (3x3 metres).
The apartments have been tastefully finished, and fully furnished and are all provided with TV sat and their own heating system. A laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board is available for common use and also a BBQ.

Local Area
The area is full of restaurants and trattorias where you can taste typical Tuscan cuisine. A convenience store, bank with cash point, pharmacy and various food stores are in Laterina (3 km from the house)
The Upper Valdarno (Valdarno Superiore) is enclosed between the Apennine mountains of Pratomagno,and the high hills of Chianti, crossed by the Arno river. The area is rich in olive groves, vineyards and woods. Nature, art, architecture and evocative landscapes are the essence of this area located among Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
The upper Aretine Valdarno, where we are, has been inhabited since prehistoric times and had the most important developments in the Middle ages. The countryside of Valdanro is above all characterized by the Balze, the Crags, formed by erosion. Le Balze give life to Valdarno's suggestive scenery. The whole area is full of substantial memories,its medieval and renaissance past, along with symbols of Etruscan, Roman and Longobarde civilization.
The Natural protected parks in the area are Ponte Buriano and Penna, Valle dell'Inferno and Bandella. Along the Course of the Arno river, close to Laterina are these two beautiful, natural oasis.
The wet lands and the morphology created by the river throughout the centuries, both contribute to this highly diversified habitat ideal for the growth and the reproduction of many different kinds of plants and and animal species. Here you can follow footpaths through woodland, over hills and along the rocks of the valley and discover a still uncontaminated world.
